Congratulations on your admission to Teachers College. We look forward to welcoming you to TC and we know that your time here will be rewarding!   

To assist you with the enrollment process, we invite you to follow these steps listed below to become a member of the TC community.  The bullet points to the right provide a quick introduction to a wide variety of resources available to new students.  Additional information regarding these recourses will be covered during the Spring Orientation Program.  You will want to confirm your attendance for this event below.

Steps for Successful Enrollment to Teachers College

  

1. Confirm your Admission to Teachers College

Please submit the Admission Response Form and the $300 non-refundable tuition deposit online.  Your tuition deposit will be credited to your account upon your enrollment.  The non-refundable tuition deposit can be paid online with credit card, savings or checking account information.

2. Financing your education
 
Complete your 2008-09 FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov and submit the TC Financial Aid and Scholarship Application to the Office of Financial Aid to be considered for aid and/or scholarship.  International students are not eligible to receive federal aid, but may be considered for scholarship if the TC Financial Aid and Scholarship Application is filed. This can be mailed to the Office of Financial Aid,  Teachers College, Columbia University, Box 309, 525 West 120th Street, New York, NY 10027, faxed to 212-678-4089, or delivered in person.  The Office of Financial Aid is located at 134 Thompson Hall.

3. Required Immunization Record Form

Submit your required Immunization Record Form to the Office of Insurance and Immunization Records by December 15, 2008. This form can be mailed to the Office of Insurance and Immunization Records, Teachers College, Columbia University, Box 308, 525 West 120th Street, New York, NY 10027, faxed to 212-678-3681, or delivered in person.  The Office of Insurance and Immunization Records is located at 159 Thorndike Hall.

4. Living at Teachers College

The Office of Residential Services offers on-campus and off-campus housing for single students and students with families.  To apply for housing, complete the online application.

5. Spring Student Orientation Program

The Spring Orientation Program will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 9am – 4pm.  The program will cover valuable information pertaining to Registration, Getting a Student ID Card, Activating a TC Email Account, and more.  For more information and to confirm your attendance please visit the Student Activities and Programs website.
